CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS

  • Do not clean new floors until fully cured at 70º F for 7 days. Exposure to water and or cleaning solutions prior to final cure may alter the color and appearance of the newly installed flooring. Do not use harsh chemicals to clean flooring. Detergents or soaps should be tried first in a non-obvious place before cleaning the entire floor. If a mechanical scrubber is to be used, make sure is is equipped with soft white brushes.

CONCRETE REQUIREMENTS

  • No Calcium
  • No Air
  • Must have vapor barrier in direct contact with bottom of slab

  • All surfaces to be coated are to be cleaned free form dirt, oil, grease, curing compounds, surface sealers of foreign laitance that may prohibit proper bond adhesion. Substrate should be dry prior to preparation work. Concrete must be roughened with any loose or unsound material completely removed before installing epoxy coating. Shot blasting is the preferred method of preparation.
